I've been given a voucher for my birthday and find the giant directory just totally overwhelming.

What would you buy with that budget?

I like some of their clothes and accessories.

Love their baby clothes. Also love cushions/pillows from Next.

Lucky you!

PastysPrincess · 11/03/2017 21:10

If you go on their website there is always lots of clearance stuff. Youll get loads of stuff for £100.

UncomfortableBadger · 11/03/2017 21:31

Controversially, I'd spend it on homewares instead of clothing - am always disappointed with the quality of Next clothes.

Never had a problem with Next homewares though Smile

Wishiwasmoiradingle2017 · 11/03/2017 21:33

Smellies!!

GeekyWombat · 11/03/2017 21:37

I fell a bit in love with a fruit bowl in Next a few weeks back. DH pointed out we already had an (unbearable) fruit bowl so why would we need one with two young children. I'd totally be buying that and some other bits besides ;)

ActuallyThatsSUPREMECommander · 11/03/2017 21:39

Dressing gown and pyjamas (I hate Next).

GeekyWombat · 11/03/2017 21:41

The bowl of my dreams (the pictures don't do it justice!) www.next.co.uk/g6a328s3#954027

Also their towels are lovely.

Ecureuil · 11/03/2017 21:41

Clothes for my 2 DD's or a new duvet set. Like the kids stuff, don't like the adult clothing.

leccybill · 11/03/2017 21:42

Maybe a handbag. Possibly underwear. Baby clothes are good.

I don't rate the women's clothes at all. Sizing is everywhere and there's too much polyester.

nomad27 · 11/03/2017 21:51

If you don't like Next can you spend it on the brands they stock that aren't Next?

I'd do that instead. Lots of whistles, French connection, etc. Also Nike sports stuff.

macymacy · 11/03/2017 22:17

Yes, Nomad27, you can if you shop and then pay online

Danglingmod · 11/03/2017 23:40

Ok, a lot of the stuff in Next is a bit naff and polyester-y.

But there's plenty that's good: jeans, tights, pyjamas, bras, leggings, long length vests, some of their knitwear, linen shirts, shoes/boots.

And, yes, kids clothes and homewares.

But I wouldn't find it at all difficult to spend £100 on myself in there on decent basics.

harverina · 12/03/2017 00:15

If you need jeans I highly recommend these £18 skinny jeans in the blue colour. I bought the dark blue at Xmas time and they are brilliant jeans - they don't go baggy and they wash well. I've since bought another pair The washed black version are rubbish though, which was a huge disappointment after the blue ones being so fantastic. They go baggy quickly and haven't washed so well.

is the link

harverina · 12/03/2017 00:16

And they have lovely shoes that are kind of in between high fashion and old fashioned

Floralnomad · 12/03/2017 00:20

They generally have some very nice lights and lamps .

Kittykatmacbill · 12/03/2017 07:44

Kids clothes are great! Women clothes are a bit, um, nexty.

FaithAgain · 12/03/2017 07:45

I got £50 at Christmas. I think I'm spending it on a soup maker.

ClarkWGriswold · 12/03/2017 08:01

Their jeans are great especially the 'cigarette' style. Another vote for Homeware; I love their art work and have just bought several Hannah Cole canvases.

rachyconks · 12/03/2017 08:08

I love their lift, slim & shape jeans. I love next, not ashamed to admit that. Never had a problem with quality! I would just go into a store and see what takes your fancy. £100 should get a complete new outfit

Okfine · 12/03/2017 08:10

Shoes, boots, nightwear, Label stuff?

honeylou42 · 12/03/2017 08:49

Home stuff Smile

SunnyL · 12/03/2017 09:59

I saw these nude brogues and was wondering about them but are brogues now done? I have a standing desk so like flat shoes for work but find loafers and ballet pumps a bit cold at this time of year.

I'd wait for the sale at Easter - most things go 1/2 price so your money will go further.

I agree their homeware & kids stuff is good, plus they do have brands like Joules.
