Hello, I'm looking for cruelty free, ethical makeup and I was wondering if anyone could recommend any brands that are also reasonably priced. I'm primarily looking for concealer, mascara, eye shadow and eye liner. The concealer needs to be suitable for very pale skin; I am blonde with the same skin colouring as someone who has red hair.

Illamasqua. Higher end but I love the concealer and foundation

I think Nestle has the majority shareholding in L'Oreal (who I think also own Lancome, Garnier and Body Shop), so, besides the animal testing issue, there's the whole ethical can of worms that is the Nestle corporation.

Op asked for cruelty free brands. Ud is a cruelty free brand. Parent companies aside (and as I'm sure you know, business practices, policies and supply chains are not at all necessarily homogenised when brands are bought and sold), I answered the original q. Not sure why it's causing such a debate. And lol yes I know it was years ago, not sure why that's relevant either.
