Dr Fab Equizi Lip Doctor

Truckingalong · 09/03/2017 18:29

I'm about to go to dr Raphael at the consulting clinic in Liverpool. Had him recommended and you can follow all his work on Instagram.

HotSince82 · 09/03/2017 18:35

Oh thank you.

I had looked at Dr Fab but saw he did Alex Gerrard who looks a bit hard and frozen imo. Nice to know he can do a light touch too 😀.

Would you mind reporting back about your results Trucking?
I hope Dr Raphael makes you look marvellous!

Well, I'm managing my expectations. He's a doctor after all, not a magician!!! Best in north west though is dr jonquil chandry in alderley edge. Expensive and long wait list but worth it.

Dr Fab Equizi aka Lip Doctor is no longer in Liverpool but practising at a hair dressers near Bolton.
I went to see him, he charges a fixed price £795 for whole face, filllers as he said however many it takes! The only problem is he uses a very cheap filler ( another doctor who uses Juverderm confirmed this) it felt like I had nothing! When you tell him he gets defensive. I am not going to argue with someone who is about to inject in my face so I wrote the money off and left. I would not recommend.

Rubyslippers111 · 01/11/2018 21:37

Forgot to add there are a few people I have used one off them again near Bolton, Emma Chan, very honest, knowledgable and it’s not just about taking ££££ off you. If you don’t need it she will tell you.She uses the best products Juverderm Vycross. I highly recommend.

I'm not sure who you are referring to rubyslippers but the lip doctor (Dr fab) is, and always has been, based in Maghull, nr Liverpool. He's not moved to a hairdressers in Bolton, my friend had an appt with him last week and he certainly doesn't charge a fee per face for fillers/botox

Rubyslippers111 · 02/11/2018 00:34

@XiCi

Dr Fab has moved from Liverpool about 2 months ago. Dr Fab and his wife have gone separate ways and he is at Enhance beauty Westhaughton near Bolton. Your friend must have seen one of the other doctors at Liverpool as his wife Lisa owns Lip Doctor.. He did charge me a fee per face for filler which was called Alexian.

XiCi · 02/11/2018 05:49

Ah OK rubyslippers. I must check with her what's going on there as she has been going for years and was very complimentary about Dr fab. Can't imagine many people going for the full face thing!!

Rubyslippers111 · 02/11/2018 23:37

No problem Xi
I have been many places and I wouldn’t rate him. The filler used Alexian is new, cheap and didn’t do much. I went elsewhere to get Juverderm Voluma which is superior and worked out cheaper than going to Dr Fab. He is nice enough as a person when not losing his cool but I didn’t go there to meet a nice man!He is practising at Enhance Hair & Beauty Westhoughton.

The White Rooms, Smithdown Road. I've been going for a few years for Botox and lip filler and wouldn't go anywhere else. Qualified nurses and a gorgeous salon. Very competitive pricing too x

XiCi · 03/11/2018 08:20

Thanks rubyslippers that's good to know. I didn't realise that there were some types of juvederm that were better than others, just thought it was all juvederm!! I've never been to Dr fab as from observation of people who have he likes the frozen, overfilled look which is not for me.

OP I have been going to Amy Johnson at Casia Aesthetics, also based in Maghull for about 10 years now. I have just a very light touch of botox in my frown lines and a mini botox around the eyes. I've had filler with her just once for marionette lines which made a world of difference. I would really recommend her.

I went to White rooms cannot recommend them highly enough, she is very through and experienced, never had someone do it as precise as Jane.
Thank you Mrstibbles

I went to The White Rooms Liverpool. I was not impressed.
Things have gone wrong, I have 2 round balls at the side of my cheeks, I look crap. Claire said “ You look great”!
I told her not to inject so high but she said thats where it should be.
After 3 months I still had balls at the side of my face. Just Imagine a face with 2 blobs at the side of your face.
3 months later she tried hylase which I’ve had before but hers gave me a reaction so she asked me to go back in 3 weeks, again ,and reassured me there are ways of removing it. Went back and got a reaction again, she massage it and that was that.
I looked horrific. I went to see a doctor who said it’s too high and does nothing for my face and suspected The White Rooms were using a cheaper animal based Hyalse so he did a test with a non animal one and I am fine.
When things go wrong this is why it’s better to go to a doctor for treatment v a nurse.

I have wasted a lot of money had to live with looking like crap and now it’s all been taken out to start again. Please be careful it’s your face.
