Right, so I am ALMOST at the 3 month milestone and I have no blooming clue what maternity wear I'll need... A couple of my girlfriends have given me their list of what they actually wore so it would be brilliant to hear yours. Hoping to get some inspo and do a big online order tonight and with any luck (fat chance) everything will be amazing and I will wear it all to death.

Leave lists below including brands please!

Wore my usual clothes til about 4 months in, then wore Topshop and gap maternity jeans, and tshirts/vests in a size up. I'm now 8 months and all I want to wear (or can wear!) is underbump leggings - gap's are great and super comfy. Either with maternity tops (mostly from gap) or tops a size or two up, with a long cardigan. Not feeling my most stylish at present but I'm comfortable.

Does the OP work for TopShop?

Gotbills2pay · 13/03/2017 11:47

During both my pregnancies I bought Top Shop stuff but the maternity underwear was terrible quality and the clothes fell apart. Seraphine and Isabella Oliver for work wear.
Second pregnancy I lived in my exercise gear!

Asda lace topped full knickers in a size up have been amazing so far in pregnancy too. They're about £7 for a pack of 4, really comfy and don't dig in like normal knicker elastic. They're not quite as hideous as standard Bridget Jones pants as they come in bright colours.

I'm halfway through and have needed mat jeans since 10 weeks! I'm small and petite though so nowhere for the bump to go but out.

I like ASOS maternity for dresses, especially in the sale section.

Topshop Leigh over the bump jeans and H&M shaping maternity jeans (hate their others).

I find tops hard, I got plain woollen jumpers a size up from warehouse in a 25% off event which have seen me through. My normal style is dresses and skirts which has been more tricky, but Jojo have some nice skirts.

This thread has been so useful, thank you all! I'm only 15 weeks and my tops and trousers are all fine but fitted skirts feel/look tight so its great to have some ideas of what might be worth getting.

Maternity leggings and a few maternity tops/ dresses from places like jojomamanbebe, top shop maternity, H&M maternity, asos maternity for the middle months.
I wore none maternity tight stretchy dresses /jumpers in the later months once I had a nice bump i was happy to show off.
Post baby I went back to my early days maternity stuff and wore lots of button blouses, vest tops with jumpers to pull up for one up/ one down technique. Also normal non nursing dresses
/tops that just had easy acces to boobs.
I was a member of can I Breast feed in it - a fb group - which was brilliant for inspiration for breast feeding friendly clothes that aren't specifically nursing clothes.
My one regret was not getting maternity clothes that doubled as nursing clothes for those early days. It didn't occur to me at the time to get nursing clothes when pregnant and I resented that most nursing clothes were maternity too and I wouldn't get my full money's worth out of them ( unless I have another baby).
