Just that really... I need a sports bra mainly for Zumba... I had a shock absorber one before but it made my boobs look pointy and unnatural

Is your back measurement really 40 inches? What size tops do you wear? Smile

thecapitalsunited · 08/03/2017 20:54

I wear a Panache one. It's brill. Everything feels secure.

littletike · 08/03/2017 21:19

Yes it is... I wear size 18-20 Blush

I am a 20/22 and have a 36 back (36GG). What is the tight measurement under your bust and the looser measurement bending over around the fuller part of your bust?

I wear panache ultimate and Freya active underwired bras

marriednotdead · 08/03/2017 22:44

Elomi Energise is a good one. If you've not had a fitting for a while I'd get your size checked first.

Imnotaslimjim · 08/03/2017 22:56

I'm a 22/24 and wear a 40F as standard (booborbust measurement) I get a 40G in sports bra though as they're very tight.

I have an Under Armour bra. I got it in Sports Direct for £30. I do advise that you go and try it on though as they really are snug.

thecapitalsunited · 09/03/2017 09:18

Actually just checked, my old one was Panache. I've got a Freya one now. Both are good. The Freya was an emergency purchase after the Panache stabbed me with underwire in the middle of a spin class.

Mine is a 38G which is a size down from my normal bras but I've put on weight (gone from an 18/20 to a 22) since I've had it so its still as snug as it should be.

RhubarbGin · 09/03/2017 14:08

Panache Ultimate Sports is the business, I have huge boobs on a small frame - 30H, and the Panache locks them in place brilliantly. Shock Absorber and Freya are a bit lacking for anything above an F cup imo.

M&s!! 2pack bargain priced and hold em down well Blush

littletike · 10/03/2017 17:14

Definitely the right bra size certainly in day bras - was recently measured and spent ages trying different sizes on.

I think I'll order a couple and try them.

The M&S ones don't go up to a 40 G which is a shame.

If you were measured in M&S I'd ignore whatever they said and go somewhere like bravissimo or John Lewis. M&S measured me as 40C, Bravissimo and JL 34G (GG?) or 36F - much better fit. Panache sports bra is fab.

delilahbucket · 10/03/2017 20:07

Go to bravissimo for a fitting. Even when I wore size 18 clothes my back size was only 36.

mycatloveslego · 10/03/2017 20:11

Another vote for Bravissimo. They're experts in measuring big boobs. Find out what size you are in the brands you like when you get measured (I'm often slightly different depending on the style and brand of the bra) then buy online or in their sales to get the best value for money.

UnicornMadeOfPinkGlitter · 11/03/2017 13:55

They do go up to a 40g maybe out of stock. My sister has them in a 42g.

Tomorrowisanewday · 11/03/2017 16:53

I'm a 20/22, and wear 40H. Best sports bra I've had is a Shock Absorber unwired - will check the model. Nothing moves!

Wolpertinger · 11/03/2017 17:44

Go to Bravissimo for a fitting and ask about sports bras.

I'm a size 18 and a 34 back. I'd be positive you are in the wrong size.

amazonianwoman · 11/03/2017 22:08

Agree. I'm size 18 with 34/36 back depending on style/make.
