Ankle-baring jeans that *aren't* sprayed-on skinny?

The skinny and ultra-skinny look does nothing for me because of my massive arse and thunder thighs.

I'd like to do the 'ankle grazing jeans and smart grey trainers' look, but the only jeans I can see online are really tight.

Has anyone seen any that are more straight-leg or a slightly looser fit?

Try primark. I got some slim fit from there that seem to have worn very well and although they are longer than ankle length I plan on rolling them up slightly when it gets warmer. I'm not sure if they had them in grey though

Try boyfriend jeans as they tend to be looser, or buy a pair you love in a size shorter than normal and turn up.

Sainsburys girlfriend jeans, turned up at the ankle.

Recently got 2 amazing pairs of jeans at ankle length.
One was the organic cotton girlfriend style from H&M with frayed hem.
Other was a slightly cropped kickflare from &otherstories.

Neither feel sprayed on and have 'room' in the right places, haha. But neither are they baggy or shapeless. I love them!

Another vote for Gap girlfriend jeans. Much nicer than skinnies when the weather gets warmer.

I have got the nicest pair of jeans I have had in years from... TESCO! Called contour, premium denim, high waisted, super stretchy, v flattering... I keep washing them and waiting for them to dry to get them on again!

The Gap girlfriend jeans do look good but I'll investigate the supermarket ones too!

If you are near Gap Outlet, try theirs Slim City - they are super comfy, stretchy and just sit right. They have them in many colours and patterns.
I can't recommend them highly enough, have 4 pairs already and will need more for spring!

Next boyfriend jeans are great or the cigarette cut and they always have some in the sale online so cheap as well.

Ended up with the Next boyfriend ones. It definitely feels bold wearing something that is so against the current skinny trend but hoping I can pull it off?! Wore them with silver/grey trainers, white top and a navy blazer yesterday 👍🏼
