Has anyone used veet hair removal cream on their top lip??

If so..: successful?

It's hideously painful for me, it makes the hairs look crimped and leaves my skin weeping. The skin takes days to heal whilst I'm still resembling Hitler. Apart from that it's great! 😁

BumbleNova · 06/03/2017 16:16

it works absolutely fine for me, just dont leave it on too long.

EggsEleven · 06/03/2017 16:17

Yes. Waxing and threading gives me spots on my lip area. I only leave it on for a minute or two though - not 5 minutes or whatever the recommendation is on the tube.

littlemissM92 · 06/03/2017 16:22

Thank you it doesn't say it not for your lip but the box makes it looks like it's for your legs but I have bought the sensitive one just incase ,, I'm nervous!

No! You need the veet specifically for the face. Think about the skin on your legs versus the skin on your face. It's much more sensitive.

WicksEnd · 06/03/2017 16:50

I think the replies above are in response the facial veet as you didn't specify it was the leg one you were about to slap on 😬

EggsEleven · 06/03/2017 17:02

Correct - I use one spefically for the face! If I was desperate and had nothing else I might use a sensitive one for bikini line on face for about 45 seconds but I'd never use a leg one!

littlemissM92 · 06/03/2017 17:13

Yeah it said leg bikini area armpit ,,, will double check when get home and before i use lol! But if it says the above what to u think I couldn't see one in supermarket specifically for face ?

So I've just read small print 'do not use on face' so I'll take it back and look for face one and from your comments that should be fine x

Good luck op, all I can say is if it tingles wash it off. Honestly when you react to it the pain can last for a good few days!

littlemissM92 · 07/03/2017 15:43

I've bought one in boots today not veet but specifically for the face will let u all know ha

Joleen bleach is the devils work too! 😂

littlemissM92 · 07/03/2017 16:24

Ha I've used that in the past it was fine for me but this is just a boots own one

OP posts:
EggsEleven · 07/03/2017 16:28

Boots own one will be fine - just leave it on for less than the recommended time at first & remove if you start to feel a tingle.

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 07/03/2017 16:31

I used a similar one to shape my eyebrows (yes a silly decision) and it took off a lot of skin too and left me with florescent red patches. Shock
Proceed with caution!
