Would like to buy a primer because, although Sali Hughes says I need one, I don't have £40 to blow on one . My skin is 50 and a bit dry. Thanks all you mavens of S&B.

I like Soap and Glory's "One Heck of a Blot" from Boots - £13.99. Lovely and smooth and makes my skin feel lovely :)

Lots of people on here recommend Lanacane anti chaffing gel as a primer. or nivea mens post shave balm. I'm always too chicken to try either of them.

The maybelline ones are good. Think it's called Baby Skin? And is less than a tenner.
