Date emergency. How do I cover a patch of broken, weeping skin...

Help. I have a date tonight.

Last night I epilated my face. Never had an issue before. Somehow I've pulled off a patch of skin by the corner of my mouth.

It was a bit red and weepy last night, but I smothered it in aloe Vera and 8 hour cream and thought nothing of it.

I've woken up to what looks like a weeping cold sore with peely corners.

Any tips on how to cover this or am I going to have to tell him I have the trots.

Have so far tried bare minerals powder, benefit boing, doublewear, nars creamy concealer... all are just sitting on top in a weird 'look at me' patch, and refuse to blend out.

You can get little plasters for coldsores that you can them put make up over called compeed. I know it's not an actual coldsore but would do the job for the day

I hate a upper lip incident myself, the only thing that concealed the redness and held back the weeping was Benefit Bo-ing concealer applied with a trowel!

I had not hate!
