Stocking and belts - please help!

I've had enough of tights - for a whole set of reasons. Wasted money and hardly last, plus really uncomfortable.

I think I want to try stockings, so I can start wearing my dresses again. I have no idea where to buy from though. I have seen them in Ann Summers - I buy my bras from there, as they stock decent ones in my size for a reasonable price - however I don't want to use them for the bedroom.

I want practical, lasting stockings for everyday use. Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

Walford stockings are great. Figleaves is good for suspenders.

Wolford

You can get them in John Lewis along with the basic black belts (i.e. Not ones with millions of sequins and superfluous lace on).

I was shocked to discover my local supermarket no longer stocked stockings the other day. It would appear they are fast entering the preserve of 'fancy dress' territory!
