Hi OP that dress is absolutely gorgeous.

What's the occasion? Night out? Now (cooler weather) or for later in the year. Daytime / evening etc?

Ilovetorrentialrain · 02/03/2017 20:53

Do you like the ones the model is wearing on the website? They are what I'd go for if it was a night out and warmer, for example.

FeralBeryl · 02/03/2017 21:01

I have a similar dress and ordered these

But forgot about the broken toe 😪 so got these instead. They were like slippers. Both by Faith

RED 👠👠👠👠

Ilovetorrentialrain · 02/03/2017 21:32

Definitely quite 'delicate', definitely as high as you can go. Colour-wise, I'd go for black(if very strappy / 'barely there' type) or even a subtle metallic.

If for daytime a matching blue suede (like Feral's) or grey suede.

Such a lovely dress.

pinkmagic1 · 02/03/2017 21:37

Silver?

TheCakes · 02/03/2017 21:40

I love orange with navy. Definitely a stiletto.

aintnobodygottimefodat · 02/03/2017 21:40

I say red also. With a bold red lip 💋

Puppymouse · 02/03/2017 21:42

I'd wear beige suede courts with that.

FeralBeryl · 02/03/2017 21:59

Forgot to say - I was going to a wedding. For a night out I'd have gone for nude.

EggsEleven · 02/03/2017 22:20

I love coral suede with navy. This colour. But not these shoes - the bows are hideous.

Eggs where are they from please?

EggsEleven · 02/03/2017 23:03

Carven Rain but they're about 5 yrs old and cost £350. Sorry Blush I was using them as an example of the colour. There are loads of other coral suede courts or strappies available though. None with bows though that I've seen.

If it's the bow you like M&S sell these in pink, baby blue or black and I actually really like them. Tried the black on and am a little bit in love.

Or LK Bennett have these in sale in some sizes

Going for an evening do at the dogs racing

Eggs thank you for that! Confession. Yes it's the bow at the back I like. Just bought these www.office.co.uk/view/product/office_catalog/2,37/2558801678 but the Craven ones I love. M and S ones great too. It's the slight 80s vibe.

OP I think your dog track must be considerably nicer than the one here. It's pretty much jeans only. Will you go to the track side or stay indoors? Maybe a rethink on the heels in that case.

PerspicaciaTick · 03/03/2017 00:32

That dress is lovely, but I can't imagine wearing it to a night at the dogs in springtime.

I'd be tempted to wear mid height heels, I always end up doing a lot of standing and running back and forth between the track and the tote. There are some nice metallic block heels (of varying heights) on the House of Fraser website.
