Why do you want him to have a leather jacket?

  1. No, not fashionable.
  1. Why would you buy him something he doesn't want?
  1. If you want to simply adorn him in a jacket... why? :p See #1.

When are leather jackets not fashionable?

If he needs a jacket and doesn't mind too much what it is, you could steer him towards one you like.

If you want to buy him as present (but are prepared to take it back if he doesn't like it) then go ahead.

Otherwise, I'd save your money.

If he's young and will look hot in skinnies and a leather biker go right ahead, if he's older with a pot belly you'll be thinking of Jeremy Clarkson every time you look at him, might completely ruin your sex life!

I really don't like leather jackets on men,I don't know why though.

They can look a bit try-hard and, as pointed out above, a bit Jeremy Clarkson on some men.

My dad had one when he was about 40-45 & it didn't look good because he was the wrong shape and size.
