Plain fitted jersey dresses

abbielove · 01/03/2017 06:13

Can anyone advise where I might find some plain fit & flare or wrap jersey dresses please?
Not crew neck but with either a scoop or v neck & either long or 3/4 sleeve?

I'm a size 8

Thank you!

Try boohoo. Yes really. The mia jersey dress is amazing and at £15 I have several, ideal for work and was really well x

Baukjen is probably worth a look - they do loads of good quality fitted jersey. I haven't bought anything myself (yet!) but have friends that highly recommend them.

abbielove · 01/03/2017 06:29

The boohoo Mia looks tad too long for me, I'm just over 5ft so I thin this would be at my ankles because I'm a short arse

Love the baukjen but just another too expensive really

There is a code for 20% off and free delivery and returns on the catalogue I just got in the post, will dig it out if you're interested?

Try asos.com - never lets me down!

Hush. Also last seasons Boden ruched dresss. On eBay now

MassDebate · 01/03/2017 10:32

I've recommended the Jersey Dress Company on here a few times. They regularly have 70% off sales which makes them amazing value and they are v good quality imo. (I'm a size 8 and 5'3").

Mine are all H&M:

or Matalan!

Baukjen jersey dresses are fabulous and wash so well. Expensive, but they have good sales.

itwillbegrandsure · 03/03/2017 12:36

Did you have any luck OP?

RemusLupinsChristmasMovie · 03/03/2017 17:02

If you are norky these are nice.

taybert · 03/03/2017 17:06

Jersey dress company are good at 70% off, I think at full price they'd be expensive but they're great in the sale. I'm 5'3 and size 10.

Chocolateteabag · 03/03/2017 19:35

Try Baukjen on ebay - their jersey is good so worth getting second hand
They used to be Isabella Oliver 365 (ie the non maternity stuff) before they rebranded to Baukjen.

Boden wrap dresses via ebay also good as are LK Bennett Silk Jersey (though they are both mostly patterned ones)

I've just bought a couple of these for my forthcoming holiday and they are really nice. I've got patterned and striped but they do some plain colours as well.

taybert · 03/03/2017 20:47

Just a word of warning about the Boden casual jersey dress.... I got the "when are you due?" question wearing one so it went in the bin.

busyboysmum · 03/03/2017 21:04

Ouch! Well I'm way too old for anyone to dare asking me that so should be safe enough :)

BWatchWatcher · 03/03/2017 21:19

The casual jersey dress is a great holiday dress! I agree though if it's a bit loose there can be a maternity element to it.
V comfy though

Umirrific · 03/03/2017 21:29

taybert that happened to me in one of the Boden ones as well.

busyboysmum · 03/03/2017 21:40

It's perfect for wearing over a swimsuit I thought.

taybert · 03/03/2017 22:43

Ouch indeed. I'd just lost a stone and was the lightest I'd been since I was a teenager so it stung quite badly! To be fair it was pre weight loss clothing and it was a good excuse to buy something new.
