Leather (look) pencil skirt

I'm a fan of pencil skirts and have got it into my head that I'd like a leathery type one.

Has anyone see one in the shops or got one they can recommend?
Will I look ridiculous?
If it's not real leather will people laugh?

I'm 32 and not exactly tall and slim but do tend to suit a 'pencil skirt and loose top tucked in' look.

River Island has some lovely pencil skirts including leather look ones, may be worth having a look in there. Also you may find some on Boohoo and Pretty Little Things, I think I saw some on their sites recently

I found a great one from Vila which gets compliments every time i wear it (always a good sign!)

Thanks for the replies. I see the Vila one it looks great. How did you find the sizing and stretch? I'm between a 12 and 14 on the bottom half so not sure if M or L.

I'm a 10-12 and got a medium which is just right. My version of half suede-effect and half-leather effect and the suede bit is definitely more stretchy than the leather -
