Can anyone help me find shoes just like this?

It's for a very very smart wedding of DSister. Outfit bought (bit of a bargain) and I want shoes to match. Trouble is I'm a) fussy with criteria and b) I've seen exactly what I'd like but they are mega mega bucks.

I want a heel, navy, satin. Could veer towards a more cobalt blue but navy preferably. I'd like a narrow stiletto heel and I'd like some detail on the back of the shoe, and a closed toe (although the ones I love are ironically a peep toe).

What I adore is these, but they are stupid money. No way can I justify this. But I'd love something similar. It's the detail on the back, the colour is just right, the heel is lovely and elegant. perfectdetails.com/Nilla-Sapphire.htm

I've actually found what is obviously a dupe of the above on aliexpress but I'm nervous over sizing and comfort.

Anyone want to help me find a similar alternative?

I would buy a pair of cheapies like this https://shuwish.com/products/tia-navy-blue-satin-stiletto-high-heel-platform-bridal-peep-toe-shoes?utmmedium=cpc&utmm_source=googlepla&variant=29607369864&gclid=CNX2h7nPq9ICFU1sGwod9U0PfQ

And then search the charity shops for some blingy earrings, cut off the fastenings and glue to the back of the heel.

I did think about doing that, or buying some diamanté appliqués and basically glueing them to the back..... ?

What about the dune rock stud style?

alabasterangel · 25/02/2017 17:46

Both nice!! But it's the detail on the back I'm after rather than on the front. Love them both though....

I could spend a fortune on shoes though Blush

On etsy and various other sites you can buy shoe clips like this:

www.etsy.com/uk/listing/173877381/victorian-glamours-cross-swarovski?&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=shopping_uk_en_gb_-weddings-shoes-womens_wedding_shoes&utm_custom1=09d72651-d118-40fc-bfd2-26f7adf64c5c&gclid=CK_Gxsrtq9ICFdTNGwodZE0CRA#

Maybe you can buy a navy satin stiletto of your choice and attach the shoe clips for a unique look?

I've got som bow shaped clips on other shoes. I think I'll risk some appliqués. If they come and look halfway decent I'll order some plain satin shoes and epoxy them on. Fingers crossed!

WilburIsSomePig · 25/02/2017 19:27

Ski the navy version of those shoes are absolutely beautiful.
