Bras!

I've been looking at the bras in M+S for months as I like several of their styles but I can't find the size I think I am. On the website they have them but not in store, I'd like to try one on before I buy so no point buying online. I'm looking at padded ones and have tried B cups but find theres too much space at the top but they don't seem to have A cups in size 38 in the shop. anyone found this and if so what did you do?

First things first, can you measure yourself following this guide? M&S fitting is notoriously bad and therefore it's highly unlikely that you're a 38A.

Hi Sorrel, I have tried an online guide and it came up with 40A! not sure 40 would be right but I do find 36 and 38 often feels very tight and I feel like I'm in a strait jacket! When I'm at home I don't wear one as they are so uncomfortable. I do like some of the lacy ones I've seen though and would like one or two just to treat myself.

that guide makes me a 36ff..... I can't quite believe it....
I always thought I was a 40d. Will have to go and try some on now
Do regular shops stock an FF?

Most online calculators are totally inaccurate and using an outdated method. Try the link, really.

SorrelForbes · 24/02/2017 15:10

Yep, ignore on-line calculators as they all add 4/5" and use the link I gave above.

Thought I'd jump in on this thread rather start another one. If I'm 31/32 under & 40 over, should I start with 32G/H?!? I'm pregnant & the boobs have inflated at a rate of knots initially but seem to have settled down now (fortunately!).

hollinhurst84 · 25/02/2017 18:51

lazy - try a 32FF as a starting point
