Before I decide to shell out on one, do people generally think they're good?Smile

I got a set for my birthday. I am not generally a lipstick person, but think they are lovely colours and quite moisturising. Not lasting, but easy to stash and reapply.

I have two. A pale one and a darker one. Since I had DD they're the only makeup I manage to apply daily!

buzzmoon · 22/02/2017 19:12

Which chubby sticks? I love them all!

drspouse · 22/02/2017 19:15

I have about 10 Blush. I have one eye one and a couple of balm ones and one rich colour and the rest original.

I think they're all pretty poor, you can get the same thing/idea from the pound shop that lasts a lot longer.

By the way, I usually wear high end make up, so not at all prejudice against the more expensive make up.

Brighteyes27 · 22/02/2017 19:20

I have a neutrally coloured lip one and love it. I wear it all over my lips under lip tint lip gloss and feel
It helps the colour stay put longer.

Ifonlyiweretaller · 22/02/2017 20:19

I have tried these, along with the Revlon ones (which to be honest I prefer). But when the 'point' wears down, which is pretty quickly, I find they are not accurate enough when applying to the outer edges and I look a bit clown like. Am i doing something wrong?

ChishandFips33 · 22/02/2017 20:25

I have the bourjois copies and move them. The colour looks bright on the stick but much more subtle on the lips

Point wise...I have the other issue! Mine have become so pointy I'm afraid they'll snap!

Ifonlyiweretaller · 22/02/2017 20:37

Is it the way we apply them Chish? Mine end up rounded after a few applications so maybe I don't put it on correctly, despite being in my 50s! You'd think I'd have learned by now...

ChishandFips33 · 22/02/2017 20:52

I think I've been over conscious about blunting from first use and have been applying on the side to the main part of my lip then a quick sweep with the point

I am not a make up person by any stretch of the imagination!

Ifonlyiweretaller · 22/02/2017 20:57

Clearly nor am I...

Brighteyes27 · 22/02/2017 21:34

I have a make up pencil sharpener with holes for standard make up pencil and fatter ones such as chubby stick. I put it on all over like a lipstick and love the shade I have, how easy it goes on and how moisturising it is.

Porygon · 23/02/2017 22:55

I've bought the set of Crayola themed ones and I LOVE THEM!!

They feel like lip gloss, go on really easily and moisturise my lips too. Plus they're mega cute!

Getting the set means I've been trying colours I'd never normally buy, so I'm happy :)

Scuttlebutter · 23/02/2017 22:57

I have a couple and keep one in my dog walking jacket as I find it really moisturising and it's an easy way to add a bit of colour. More of a supplement/replacement for a lip gloss than a lipstick replacement for me.

NatalieRushman · 23/02/2017 22:59

I have one, and don't really use it. I much prefer the ysl rough volupte shines - larger colour range, not much difference in moisturising properties, and I prefer the softer and glossier texture of the ysl lipsticks.

mimarbia · 23/02/2017 23:01

I love them, I have 4 lip colours and 3 for eyes, I find them simple to apply and long lasting.

EnglishGirlApproximately · 23/02/2017 23:04

I love the lip ones but the eye Ines are just ok. Gas anyone tried the foundation ones? Wondering if they might work for minimal holiday make up?

PutDownThatLaptop · 23/02/2017 23:08

Translucent one is ok but the Intense one dried my lips out.
