NYX orange concealer

So I read some really good reviews about this concealer and watched some YouTube videos and decided to try it out.
I have really bad under eye blue/purple bags and have tried around 5/6 different concealers in various shades which have made no difference.
Apart from looking cakey the NYX hasn't made much difference.
Am I doing it wrong?
Has anyone else tried it or anything else that has made a difference?

You need the most peachy one so it offsets the purpleness of the shadows.
Laura Mercier's camouflage palette is very good but pricy and you need to warm the product up on your hand so that it doesn't go all cakey.
Are you using an eye cream before putting the concealer on? This can help with the caking.

Which shade did you buy?

Have you tried the LA Girl orange corrector? It's a liquid consistency so no creasing into fine lines or caking. It's very pigmented so you only need a tiny bit.

Not an under eye cream but moisturiser then primer? I got the 13 orange which I thought would do the job. I haven't heard of the LA girl one, I'll google now!!

The la pro concealer is pretty good and really cheap so worth a try, however you might need a different tone of orange or different colour (e.g. peach or salmon). Also yellow correctors are good if you have more olive skin.

Maybe go into a boots and have a play with the nyx dark circle correctors they are more peachy toned and may do the job
