any tips for ones in L1 kind of area? We are staying there this weekend and fancy my hair being done before a do?

Loads of places in L1 will do you a blow dry. Curly blow is the local speciality.

Try Voudou (Button Street & Bold Street). Otherwise there's an Andrew Collinge top of Bold Street which will definitely sort you out.

But what is a blow dry bar?
How does it differ from a hairdresser?

Try Rush salon which is opposite central station and ask for Shannon. She's done my hair recently and is very good.

Andrew Collinge, but not the one up Bold Street, which is the training academy the one in Castle Street which is far closer to L1. I was at a wedding at a hotel close by and one of the junior stylists blow dried my hair, can't remember how much it was but it was worth every penny.
