Following the housekeeping threads, I have discovered litres and litres of unused hair conditioner. I have had short hair for a year and hardly use any now. Any suggestions on how to use up rather than chuck? Some of it is very expensive. I have been using it on legs when shaving....

It's nice for hand washing wooden jumpers.

It's lovely inches shower after your body wash. Make your skin feel.nice and soft.

how does it get wooly jumpers clean if it's not soap?

BWatchWatcher · 19/02/2017 09:22

It is a bit like soap. I have curly/wavey hair and wash my hair with only conditioner.

Sorry, with wool washing, add a tiny bit of soap too, but hair conditioner in the water too, acts as a very good fabric softener on wool.

Send some to me! Grin

Use it when shaving your legs. It makes the hair softer and leaves your legs feeling great.

Bouncealot · 20/02/2017 07:54

That's the one thing I'm doing,Candle. Smile Also I think some might start going off so it's a race against time!

If it's unopened you can donate it to a food bank.

Give it to a good shelter or Ellen's refuge?
Do you know anyone who Swimmi frequently? Give it to them! I spend a fortune on conditioner.

If you have kids, you can make a lovely smelling play dough by adding cornflour (maybe not with the expensive stuff!)
