Nose studs/rings

Where do you get yours? All the studs have twisty ends, I'm unsure if anyone else has this problem but they are a nightmare to remove and put back in again. Does anyone use a straight stud? Also hoops, where do people get their small rings from? Thanks Smile

eBay

They're twisty for a reason, straight studs come out way to easily!
I get all mine from www.bodyjewelleryshop.com/

They do an open ended ring that is infinately easier to put in and take out than normal ones.

imthelastsplash · 18/02/2017 08:24

I can't use twisted studs either, I get all mine from eBay now

SailAwayWithMeHoney · 18/02/2017 08:24

eBay. I always manage to pull studs out, no matter how bendy the wire is!

Have these now - www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Surgical-Steel-Silver-Open-Nose-Ring-Thin-Small-Hoop-Piercing-6mm-8mm-10mm-/161913099020?var=&hash=item25b2c5d30c:m:mzRgnbivWk50VV-DI1mv3Ug

Absolutely the easier thing ever.

Another vote for body jewellery shop. They do nose studs with a slight bobble on the end so they don't fall out. www.bodyjewelleryshop.com/online_store/nose_stud_bonus_pack_1mm_mix_bevel_jewels_144771177.cfm

Hi OP I get mine from here

bodymattersgold.com/collections/diamond-nose-studs

You can choose length, thickness and whether the end is twisty or straight with a ball (I have one with a ball on the end and it's not as bad as you think to get in / out)

TheGrumpySquirrel · 18/02/2017 08:27

They do rings too

Heyheyheygoodbye · 18/02/2017 08:30

bodyjewelleryshop fan here too. I wear the open ended ring.

FishlessCake · 18/02/2017 08:52

Thanks everyone, I'm really wanting a diamond one now Grin

Sainsburys do both rings and straight studs with small ball on the end 😊

FishlessCake · 18/02/2017 20:00

Thanks @thefudgeling I had no idea about sainsburys. I live 1.5 hrs from the nearest big one (Tenby sainsburys is like a spar Grin). Will check out next time I'm in Swansea.

I wear tiny studs - some plain silver and some with a crystal on the end. I buy the straight wire ones as I like to bend an 'L' into it to suit the shape of my nose! I get mine from Amazon. Sainsbos used to do the ones that I liked but they only do the bobble end ones now, which I don't like.

Tootsiepops · 18/02/2017 21:30

Claire's accessories Grin

Elledouble · 18/02/2017 22:25

Claire's - I like the bobble ones as they're the only ones that don't fall out!

Definitely tempted by a ring now - I've always liked the look of them but never been brave enough - I usually wear a tiny crystal stud!

FlipFlopCottonTail · 18/02/2017 22:32

the ring I have has a flat bit at one end and you just twist it in, easy to get in and out, haven't bothered with studs since.

FunkinEll · 18/02/2017 22:54

I got my nose pierced recently for my 30th. So far I've only got a couple of threaded studs and a ring from Maria Tash x Liberty. The ring is hinged and the studs are threaded so you screw the front in on the outside of the nostril like in the pic.
