Either I've put on loads of weight or next sizing has changed! I'm the same weight etc but now a 14 when last season I was a 12, has anyone else had the same problem please?

Erm - i've just found the opposite actually. I had to buy a size smaller than i thought i needed in something last week. Happy days.

In M&S today however ... i just had to up-size. (trying out their high waist skinnies). Humph.

Next is random.

Two tops the same can vary massively. They don't seem to do 'sizes'.

Laiste · 15/02/2017 17:24

To be honest, depending on weather it's a top or a bottom and where i am, i'll often take a 14, 16 and an 18 into the changing room if they have them. You can never bloody tell these days!

I'm size 12-14 and just bought a size 16 coat from there, also the jeans seemed a bit tight, it is extremely variable though.

I've got jeans in 14,16 and 18 from next that all fit and tops in 16 and 20

I'm generally 14/16 in most places now, having lost 7 stone

Thanks everyone - feeling better now!

grey i'm like that with jeans from New Look. Three sizes 12, 13 and 16 that all fit the same and look the same on. I always feel a bit happier pulling on the 'small' ones though Grin

JemimaMuddledUp · 15/02/2017 19:37

I had to take a dress back and change it for a smaller size last week, which was unusual as Next doesn't usually allow much boob room.

OTOH jeans bought this winter are smaller than jeans bought last winter.

I hate next sizes. Lots of people say they come up big and have room for tummies but that's never been my experience. Same in m&s. I must be the only person who can get into a 12 in H&M and need a 16 in next.
