A washing q... mohair jumper?

I normally chuck everything in the machine, but I have a lovely mohair/polyamide/wool loosely woven jumper that I don't want to ruin. The label says dry clean only. Can I machine wash on gentle? Would hand washing be ok? What would you do?

It's 52% mohair, 32% polyamide, 16% wool is that's important.

Personally I would machine hand wash on cold and dry flat or on radiator. Disclaimer: I am in no way responsible for anything that happens to your jumper as a result of my advice 😂

I'd hand wash!

I put mine on the hand wash cycle. It has been fine. And then dry flat on a towel.

Thank you - I'll risk it.

Handwash cycle with specialist silk and wool wash. Works for cashmere etc.

Yes I also use liquid silk and wool wash, I should have added that!
