Getting fussy in my old age!

I am hoping to go out with DH in a few weeks, we have had a tough year and havnt been out just the two of us for ages.
We are hoping to go into a local city to a few nice bars.
I want to look nice, as feeling abit rubbish with everything going on 😢
I have some lovely heeled tan ankle boots i bought in the sales, but i just cant think what colours to put them with, did think black skinnies and a nice blouse? But what colour? 😨

I would wear dark blue skinnies if that is what you want to wear I like navy with tan and a blue blouse? What do you think?

I havnt got dark blue skinnies, but could look. Ok thanks will look at blue blouses. Everthing seams to be very ruffly at the moment!!

Yes I know what you mean. Well in that case (and if you like the colour I suppose you could go for a tan blouse to go iwth the boots.. I have seen some around. But I know what you mean about ruffles. They are everywhere!

Ok thanks, ill have a look. Ive seen a couple of nice ones (i think) on next. Thinking long sleeves, as i hate being cold!!

Or a cream blouse, that would look nice with tan boots and black skinnies.

I think it would go better with black but if you went for nude tights and tan boots it should still look nice. I'd wear it with tan boots.

Actually as there's no black in the dress tan would look great.

Yes I like nude tights so much better than black. I think the nude breaks up the blockiness and looks more dressy. To me black tights are a work look!

Aah thanks everyone, i have ordered the dress also seen a couple of nice blue ones on Debenhams, the pic actually has tan boots with the dress on there.

Try oasis op, it's my favorite shop, I favor a fit and flare or skater style!

These 2 are lovely and a very flattering shape. Argh I can't post them both. The other one was the Ditsy Wrap Skater. I can't post either! And one was the Spring Bouquet Skater. Really really flattering shape. Not boxy at all. Both Oasis.
