Semi perm colour - for Isla Fishers hair!!

I'm a natural dark blonde and really want to go the shade of red that Isla Fisher has. Can anyone recommend a semi perm colour which isn't likely to be a disaster?!

Loreal casting gloss. Nice shiny semi permanent.

That's my natural colour. I've searched everywhere to find a match to cover my greys that are starting to sneak through- which shade of L'Oréal would match that?

I think they were the brand that I was looking at in Botts the other day, but chickened out of buying! If I use semi perm and I don't like it, will it completely wash out over time?

Red semi permanent washes out easily

Greenfingeredfun · 11/02/2017 20:45

That's good news, I've never gone red and really want to try it.. but keep worrying that i will ruin my hair and have to grow it out

I used casting creme gloss in Amber to get that colour. My hair is just a little less red than Isla's.

My advice is don't do it. It doesn't wash out despite it saying that it will fade to your natural colour. I have roots but luckily the colour is quite similar to my natural hair colour and so they aren't too obvious.

Red semi permanent colours fade quickly but don't go completely

Avoid avoid avoid

Greenfingeredfun · 12/02/2017 21:24

Oh no! How quick does it fade? Never, ever fades out completely? Sad

I've done lots of similar colour dyes- I always think they wash out but my hair is pretty much that colour anyway so difficult to be sure!
