Double row lash extensions?

I was reading a blog (from a New Yorker) who mentioned their eye lashes are so full as they get a double row of extensions-is this a 'thing'? I've had extensions in the past and liked them and was curious about this.

I haven't had a double row but I do have 3D lashes which are like 3 Tony lashes in one cluster added to each lash so their super thick without being heavy if that makes sense?

I mean tiny not Tony!

So is 3D the brand or just the name of that stype? X

I think they are just a type of lash.. the salon I go to in Essex do either those or normal lashes so I just think it's a type of lash, I don't think it's a specific brand x
