What do you think of this dress?

I'm 44, have put on loads of weight, look and feel shocking, have depression, anxiety and PTSD and having some sort of mid life crisis.

I want to look normal. I saw this dress it feels really comfy but I can't decide. I don't like my fat arms but not sure what I'd wear with this to cover up. Or what I'd wear on my feet.

I'm stuck in a rut I need to get out of. I want to be normal again. I need to feel nice and not just worn down.

I think I'm feeling particularly low at the minute as I'm ordering loads of stuff and sending it all back as it all looks crap.

I too was surprised when I saw your picture. In a nice way! You have a lovely figure and that dress is great on you. For an interview, I'd team it with a nice black suit style jacket.

Op I was expecting you to be heavily over weight and you are not. You look gorgeous and you do not need a bigger size. Many people would kill for your figure. You've obviously been smaller in the past from what I gather from your posts but that doesn't mean you do not look great as you are. Good luck with the interview. Please have confidence in yourself. You look great!

Thank you but I just don't see it. Weight gain not helped by my age, medication, feeling meh, drinking too much and eating too much.

Have ordered the next size up and it's a bit baggier so I will see how I feel next week.

I am on the waiting list for high intensity CBT and have been since about October. Hopefully soon I will start feeling better.

Good luck op, I really don't think the bigger size (dress) is needed though! Just remember that not one person said your figure was horrible, in fact 100% of us said it was great! Xx

Don't wear the next size up, it will make you look bigger.
