Mmm, Autograph Leopard Trainers - Are they keepers?

Excuse the crap photography. Fell in love with online pics. Now in real life I'd appreciate the S&B verdict on whether they are worth hanging on to or not.

I'm a SAHM and my youngest has SN so practicality is important. I usually wear jeans and a lot of black and grey (but aspire to looking a little bit stylish)!

Thanks in advance.

I bought them but sent them back as they were too brown for me. I prefer leopard print to look more leopardy or a grey leopard print.

MartinRohdesBellybuttonFluff · 06/02/2017 17:56

Like a lovely grey snow leopard....

i like a bit of leopard print but they are horrid, shape, colour and everything.

ElspethFlashman · 06/02/2017 18:01

Yes too brown for me too I'm afraid.

MartinRohdesBellybuttonFluff · 06/02/2017 18:03

Oh Jesus, the images when googling leopard print. Eye bleach anyone?

The plain brown bit on the sides looks far too plasticky.

Send them back imo.

Lucked · 06/02/2017 18:09

I think I prefer the puma ones

Although I like the dune offering they are paler and I would have to wait till summer or they would get wrecked.

RemusLupinsChristmasMovie · 06/02/2017 18:21

Not fond, sorry. They look a bit plastic.

EggsEleven · 06/02/2017 19:21

I like these adidas Stan Smith but they seem to be out of stock in a size 5 unfortunately

hunans · 06/02/2017 19:26

That bed is so Del Boy.

Love those Puma ones. Added to my ever-growing S&B wish list 🙄

EggsEleven · 06/02/2017 19:31

The bed spread is bad enough without the obvious spelling mistake Grin

NewPantsforaNewYear · 06/02/2017 19:35

I think that makes it more Del Boy

Puggirl007 · 06/02/2017 20:04

I brought these last autumn, wore them a couple of times and the tongue kept moving around, the hair rubbed off leaving a big bald patch. It completely spoiled them.
M and s gave me a refund.

SouthWestmom · 06/02/2017 20:19

No, oh my god, seeing you lot love this awful stuff makes me scared about who I am taking advice from. For the love of god op take them back.

piefacerecords · 06/02/2017 21:09

Grin at noeuf

You're safe with me - my only advice is to keep away from the shop of horrors that is M&S...

LadyOfTheCanyon · 07/02/2017 07:13

Wrong colour, too long, too many eyelets. Plasticky. It's a no from me.

lurkingfromhome · 07/02/2017 08:54

These are not good. Really not good. Wrong shape, too brown, look cheap.

I'm a big fan of animal print trainers but these look fairly typical of M&S stuff - tries to be on trend, gets a few details wrong, ends up looking not right at all and like a watered-down version of a stylish item, designed to appeal to the women who find the real thing a bit too much.

MartinRohdesBellybuttonFluff · 07/02/2017 15:33

OP here, how about these then? Are they nicer than the M&S ones?

Thanks for your help Smile

They look frumpy sorry. There's much nicer ones out there

MartinRohdesBellybuttonFluff · 07/02/2017 15:39

Grewsap, do you mean the new ones I just posted above or the ones in the OP?

OP posts:
SapphireStrange · 07/02/2017 15:39

They're too shiny and a weird shape; small toebox and they look longer than they are, IYSWIM.

Do you know Shoeaholics discount shoe site? I haven't looked for a while, but they have Kurt Geiger shoes cheap as chips.

YouMakeABetterDoorThanAWindow · 07/02/2017 15:40

I had the m&s ones, they fell to pieces after a few wears. Did you read the online reviews as it seems I wasn't alone?

Grewsap · 07/02/2017 15:40

I don't like the white sole on either

GinasGirl · 07/02/2017 16:08

I have non hairy superga leopard print ones and they are very comfy!
The M&S ones are just not quite right are they?
