Before getting them replaced?

Got my 1st set ever done on the 17th Jan. When should I get them removed and redone? The woman didn't say.

I get infils every 2 weeks you only need a new set every few months x

FoxAndTheBound · 05/02/2017 18:38

Oh she didn't mention refils. She didn't really speak at all.

Yes, infill every two weeks x

FoxAndTheBound · 05/02/2017 19:58

Wow that's £18! I think I will wait another week and just get them redone 😂

Getting them redone completely is not necessary and its damaging to the nail and expensive to get them removed and replaced all the time.
You can get infills every 2-3 weeks. An infill will look like new set again.

SeaLionsOnMyShirt · 05/02/2017 20:13

I used to get a fill every 2 weeks (£18 is very cheap actually!) and then a new set after about 6 fills, so around every 3 months.

FoxAndTheBound · 05/02/2017 20:15

Oh right. Ok. I'll do that then.

I might go somewhere else because the lady didn't explain any of this and she actually cut my fingers.

It wasn't an NSS salon was it?

FoxAndTheBound · 05/02/2017 20:29

What does that mean?

It was just a salon in my local small shopping centre. When she pushed my cuticle back she used the things that look like dog nail clippers to remove dead skin bit she cut chunks out on 3 fingers and had to put some burning stuff on with a cotton bud. The nails looked ok (one was wonky) but it was ruined by the big scabs where she did that.
