Blackheads

Is there anything that will get rid of them? I had a facial 2 weeks ago and since then they've been really noticeable.

I've tried a bit of squeezing but to no effect!

Did the therapist do extractions during the facial?

muhajaba · 05/02/2017 09:48

Please don't squeeze them! The best thing I've found for blackheads is french green clay, it's amazing. I would go back to your facialist though before doing anything.

No extractions, it was a hydrating facial.
I'll look into French green clay and keep my hands off them!

I highly recommend COSRX exfoliating silk ball thingies. You can get them on Amazon. And don't pick!

Waitrose plain bar soap on affected area only wash off with flannel and warm water
Vichy normaderm green water toner - really mild so use nightly
Clay mask - anything - weekly. I use sanctuary but they are all good

Have you tried the peel off mask? It pulled the majority of mine out.

NatashaRomanov · 05/02/2017 13:56

Are you sure they are blackheads and not sebaceous filaments?

987flowers · 05/02/2017 14:38

Have just made myself slightly sick after googling sebaceous filaments and then watching a YouTube video of them being removed Shock you could be right. Thinking about it a wiggly worm may well have come out on a squeeze.

I wonder if the facial has made my skin produce more...
Thanks all for the ideas
