Pleated midi skirt - what shoes?

Love the pleated midi skirt trend, but i really don't know what style of shoes / boots to wear for an everyday look? Help please!

Could i ask for two suggestions?! Something for work, and something laid back and casual please!

Doesn't matter about colour, as long as you can advise on style.

I'm getting kitten heeled sling backs today to wear with mine

Ankle boots - I find the ones that come slightly higher on the leg look better.
