J Crew sizing ?

Is the sizing on uk website uk equivalent eg a 16 is a 16 and not a US 16 which would be equivalent to a uk 18 ?

Plus are they in general good quality ?

No, the sizing is US sizing. A 16 is a UK 20.

I own quite a bit from there and am very happy with the quality (but sadly it's still overpriced at full price because the prices are converted from dollars at 1:1).

Quality is excellent (I live in the US, so have mountains of their stuff). Sizes come up large though., so watch out for that.
