Powder foundation that doesn't sit in the cracks?!

I had one from L'Oréal (I think) and loved how easy it was to use, but it used to settle in the lines around my eyes! Is this just because of the type of formula or can anyone recommend a different type? I was thinking Bare Minerals but don't want to spend so much if it does the same?

I do not use powder under my eyes, I use a pen style highlighter. I find all powder cakes up under the eyes and falls into lines and makes me look older.

Thanks, good tip! Maybe I could stick with the original one but stay away from my eyes - don't know why I didn't think of that Smile

I don't think a powder foundation is flattering on anyone, they make the face look really flat and I personally think they dull any glue you have! Why not up grade to a pen highlighter and a nice medium coverage foundation. I bet your be amazed at the difference.

Glow not glue

Do you use any base? I like a couple of them, No7 do stuff one for greasy skin. Smashbox do a range of them for different types of skin.

Thanks, I'm using a foundation I really like, max factor illuminating one, I was just being a bit lazy as the powder one was so quick and easy, and I could build up if needed. I agree it probably wasn't as flattering and at my age I want to look fresh not caked!
