dress

I'm on my yearly hunt for casual Jersey summer dresses with sleeves and a waist and I am tempted by this. White stuff not usually my thing. Have I lost the plot?

Not sure what shoes it would go with either. Certainly not the ones it is styled with.

The colour in the photo with blonde model is very dull, but it looks much nicer on brunette model.
That shape does nothing for me but I'm an odd shape myself.
Are ugly shoes compulsory these days?

CactusFred · 31/01/2017 21:26

I like the pattern but not the twisty front.
Probably because that style would look awful on me.

PovertyJetset · 31/01/2017 21:27

Nope.

buckeejit · 31/01/2017 21:28

I don't like it-think you'll find a better jersey dress with sleeves in the supermarket

Loyly · 31/01/2017 21:34

I don't like it.

Madbengalmum · 31/01/2017 21:36

You are deluded sorry.

pickleday · 31/01/2017 21:40

Oh I really like it!

margaritasbythesea · 31/01/2017 21:42

Ok. Message received. Not in the supermarkets where I am buckeejit! Non UK. White stuff have an offer on international delivery ATM which is why I was looking.

I'm a redhead and that's a very good colour on me. It's hard to find colours in the shops that are.

No, I think the print is hideous. Also not sure if that twist front would work certainly not on me.

WhatchaMaCalllit · 31/01/2017 21:43

Have you tried looking on www.pepperberry.co.uk for jersey dresses?

HoHumming · 31/01/2017 21:44

Have you looked at Banana Republic for wrap dresses that are a little 'younger'. (I don't mean to offend you, I am no idea what age you are but I think this dress could look frumpy very easily).

SloanyAnne · 31/01/2017 21:44

I don't like it and I buy their clothes sometimes.

Bluntness100 · 31/01/2017 21:45

I think it looks a bit dated and mumsy to be honest, so I'd also say not for me.

AlwaysTheWinner · 31/01/2017 21:46

I think it's nice. But I have no style or sense of fashion so you may not want to listen to me!

margaritasbythesea · 31/01/2017 21:47

Yes I think it's a bit grumpy too. I do struggle to find suitable things. Thanks for links. Will check them.

You'd have to have a v flat stomach...

TheHouseOfIllRepute · 31/01/2017 21:48

I love it but then I hate most of what is liked on here

Flingmoo · 31/01/2017 21:50

I think it's fine, nothing special but fine for everyday wear Smile

Judydreamsofhorses · 31/01/2017 21:50

Not keen on that at all. I always think White Stuff clothes look like they've been washed a thousand times and have faded horribly even when they're brand new.

ArriettyClock1 · 31/01/2017 21:50

Are you whippet thin?

It's pretty horrid, but may look ok if you have zero lumps or bumps.

Why on earth have they styled it with galoshes in the video?

Cousinit · 31/01/2017 21:53

Frumpy IMO

mrwalkensir · 31/01/2017 21:58

if you're a redhead with the right figure, it'll be rather lovely - would look awful on me as I have no shape

NotTodaySatan · 31/01/2017 21:59

It's a no from me.

It's rather frumpy and the colours are very meh. Looks like it's been owned for a few years and washed to death.
