Help me find a nice rose gold watch

rolandismyhero · 31/01/2017 20:22

I have saved some money and don't wear much jewellery but do like a stylish classy looking watch. My general style is probably classic, with lots of navy as a base colour, which is what I feel comfortable and safe in.

I fancy a bit of bling but not too much so that I cannot wear it during the day.

Ideally a fairly slim watch with a nice leather or rose gold metal strap.

Is it possible to find a classy looking rose gold watch, do they exist? Wink Thanks

Sorry I don't have any good suggestions, just wanted to say I do love rose gold but if you're going for a classic look, rose gold might end up looking a bit dated soon as it's been a bit of a fashion fad in recent years... Depends how long you want it to last but I can see it looking very 2015 in a year or so from now... Either that or it'll be the new classic and stay desirable forever Grin

I really like this one www.watchshop.com/ladies-coach-sport-watch-14502543-p99994499.html

Rose gold doesn't suit me though Sad

Only half your budget so I dint know if you want a more expensive one.

FinalGirl · 31/01/2017 20:37

I have this one - it's a tiny bit over budget on watchshop but I've seen it cheaper elsewhere. It is rose gold but yellower than some.

I have a rose gold Daniel Wellington watch that I love. I've got loads of the straps (some leather, some stripes), so I can change to coordinate with my outfit.

This is only a fraction of your budget but is rose gold and navy and lovely. Olivia Burton does so many lovely watches.

How about this OP?

www.mvmtwatches.com/collections/all-womens-watches/products/hermosa

It is a lovely size and colour. Not too over the top and good quality. Plus I believe that the straps can come in different sizes which is good for me as I have really small wrists

furlinedsheepskinjacket · 31/01/2017 21:27

dkny do nice ones too

LiquoriceWheel · 31/01/2017 21:31

Marc Jacobs has nice classic watches in rose gold

RustyPaperclip · 31/01/2017 21:33

Just to add, I never normally wear watches but I love my rose gold MVMT watch and I get a lot of compliments (Im not a rep for the company, I promise!)

onemouseplace · 31/01/2017 21:40

I bought this Olivia Burton one recently and I love it - it looks much more expensive than it actually is.

A very plain and simple style

I love these watches.

u123 · 31/01/2017 21:46

Just a note about the Olivia burton Ines is that I used the have one and loved it but the plating wore off very quickly and it broke within two years

Ponks · 31/01/2017 21:53

And I do have a soft spot for Kate Spade.. bit of bling here too

Thanks, amazing so many great links and suggestions.

The Kate Spade one is nice, I hadn't come across the brand before. JL seem to have a wide range of RG watches.

I also like www.johnlewis.com/kate-spade-new-york-1yru0191-women's-gramercy-mini-bracelet-strap-watch-rose-gold-white/p1629088

Normally not too keen on fossil but this is nice:

I also liked the Skagen linked to above although I haven't been too keen on their other models.

I rather like this one too.

Links of London have a few, does anyone know what their watches are like?

They have the super slim ones
www.linksoflondon.com/gb-en/driver-mini-round-rose-gold-plate-bracelet-watch/prod=6010-2174 Any views?

And another tissot
www.ewatchtime.com/im/tissot/tissot-t-gold-rose-dream-quartz-ladies-steel-back-1.jpg

Thanks again!

Would you rather go for a very slim one with a rose gold metal strap or slightly larger and leather? So many choices.

Is Kate Spade a bit like Olivia Burton style wise?

how about this one?

The Kate spade one is nice.
It really depends on your preference. I personally prefer smaller faces as I have a small wrist but both types look nice.

RainbowsAndLemonDrops · 01/02/2017 09:30

this Vivienne Westwood one

In price range, a beautiful watch (I have the Bloomsbury one).

rolandismyhero · 01/02/2017 09:56

I am now more indecisive than ever.

I know it's a personal choice. Because I don't normally do 'bling' and usually wear white gold it's a tricky choice but I'm drawn to the warm and vibrant colour of the RG watches.

Narrowing it don to these

I'd love to find a slim one with a leather strap though.
