toast tunic
I am about to purchase this I think. I'm only 5'3 and about a size 12 normally. I've never bought from Toast before, would I need a small or a medium in this do you think?
And should I splurge and get this ??? I'm tempted....toast donegal sweater

I don't buy clothes very often and for the last few years I have felt rather lost. I'm getting divorced this year and am feeling the need to re-assert myself a bit! Any opinions on what to wear it with (a nice pair of good leather brogues I reckon) also appreciated! Thank you

Great customer service - well done Toast's marketing team!

UntilTheCowsComeHome · 31/01/2017 16:47

I'd never even heard of Toast before (country bumpkin with no life) but this has made me take notice. What a lovely thing to do.

Off to browse their website...

leedy · 31/01/2017 18:55

Oh my goodness, what a lovely thing for Toast to do.

I feel better about squandering quite so much money on their nice jackets now... :)

KarlosKKrinkelbeim · 31/01/2017 19:17

Toast is kind of for country bumpkins Until! Take a look.
While we're plugging them can I mention their bed linen - cosiest I've ever slept in. Only downside is we can't the dc out of our bed now

AwkwardSquad · 31/01/2017 19:22

That's lovely. I'm wearing my Toast dressing gown right now - it's lasted for years.

missmartha · 31/01/2017 19:27

I've never been disappointed by anything I've bought from Toast. The finish is so good and the quality is excellent too.

What a generous thing for Toast to do. I love them.

hecallsmebunny · 31/01/2017 19:30

That's so nice! Hope you feel amazing in it OP

BikeRunSki · 31/01/2017 19:32

I really like Toast stuff. Pricey but worth it. The only negative is that I find their T shirt type tops a bit short.

Lalsy · 31/01/2017 19:35

Oooh little warm glow here - nice one, Toast and enjoy, OP! Off to inspect Toast dressing gowns.....

Celaena · 31/01/2017 19:36

What a lovely thing for a company to do !

DesolateWaist · 31/01/2017 23:35

Wow. How will they know it really is the op though?

Still, I've never bought anything from Toast before. Off to have a look now.
hopefully they do something for the lardy out here

WicksEnd · 31/01/2017 23:39

What about that for a lovely confidence booster!
You're going to walk with your head held high and a smile on your face wearing now OP, 😁
Fabulous!
👍👏👍 to Toast.

DesolateWaist · 31/01/2017 23:42

Well I think I would look like a sack of spuds in the clothes, the fault of me having a sack of spuds body type.
However no one told about the bed linen. The organic ticking! I would look good in that.

PickAChew · 31/01/2017 23:42

it's probably so heavily reduced because they admit in the description that it pills when you look it it!

PickAChew · 31/01/2017 23:44

Jessica's offer is lovely, though Star

faustina · 01/02/2017 07:32

DesolateWaist, the organic ticking is lovely - I have the raspberry colour. And Jessica if you're still there, if you could magic me up a St Cyr kimono gown which is out of stock on your website - perhaps you could have a rummage? - I would be so grateful! I've been a faithful Toast dressing gown buyer for years, but this year's dejallaba went in the tumble drier and looks awful now, and last year's wasn't great either.

Perhaps you could also have a think about making a few pieces for those of us who aren't so tall? I would buy so much more if you did!

Laquila · 01/02/2017 09:33

That's brilliant OP! Enjoy wearing it.

I had one of their full-length flannel dressing gowns for Christmas and it's AMAZING.

Come to think of it, when a cardy I had from there a few years ago shrunk dramatically in the wash they refunded it very quickly - I was impressed. I think they're actually owned by French Connection?

Laquila · 01/02/2017 09:34

Also, another shoutout for their bedlinen - I have some of their flannel ticking stripe from years ago and it's lovely.

libertydoddle · 01/02/2017 10:42

How lovely of Toast! Hope you love your new tunic OP.

I have a few things from Toast and the quality is fantastic.
