Duac cream and dyed hair

I've just been prescribed Duac cream for some mild but persistent areas of acne. I get some spots along my hairline at my forehead and the nape of my neck.

I know the BP in it can bleach clothes and sheets etc, so I am worried if I use it along my hairline it will bleach my hair as my hair is dyed. Anyone tried it?

Also if I put it on an hour before bed or so is it likely to bleach my sheets? Thanks.

I use it, it bleached my bedding and towels Angry but not noticed it affecting my dyed hair so far.

Yes it bleaches sheets and towels even the next morning. I think it bleached my eyebrows too!

It's really effective though so it's worth it!

Wow, bleaching stuff the next day?! I've only used it on a tiny patch along my jawline so far as the dr said to go slow and do a few patch tests as I know it can cause redness and dryness. But it has already worked along that patch so fingers crossed. If it's good I'll be kicking myself for not getting it years ago!

I was prescribed it years ago and yes, it did stain my bedding.

However, I'm on it again now oh, the joys of getting acne in your 30s and my dermatologist advised to apply it as early in the evening as possible to minimise damage. I've found it works: I remove makeup as soon as I get back from work, so I have a good few hours between applying Duac and bedtime. A couple of months in, my bedding is still immaculate.

Never had any adverse effects on dyed hair, though.
