Quick foundation recommendations

Am in my mid 40s and never really been a big wearer of every day make up. Always stuck with a cheap tinted moisturiser.

Now realise that's not enough for middle aged wrinkles and need more coverage.

All the make up counters in JL and
Boots terrify me so need some recommendations for a good daily wear foundation that's not too expensive

TIA

Laura Geller Balance & Brighten. Very quick to apply and is buildable so you can control the coverage. I use it (almost 39) and so does my mum (62).

Try a BB cream - they came out in 2011 and are tinted moisture , fresh but Matt, not as thick as foundation, SPF.

I have bought Garnier (must be commutation to oily skin as the Normal one is too thick to apply) - it's an intro price but it's good
