Please help?

I have developed the lovely adult acne ever since I had my dd (3years ago) which still hasn't sodded off. I have very sensitive skin which is now quite oily (yet dehydrated) and so sore most of the time, I can't find a moisturiser that doesn't freak everything out Sad my face is consistently irritated, any suggestions people? I have been eying up the nip+fab glycerine serum, I just can't put up with my face being so sore all the time Sad

OP, I used the retinoid from day one every night. But, my skin had dealt with the redness and peeling from another brand. I found The Ordinary retinol very mild and soothing, it's also moisturising. My skin felt comfortable and moist after usage, and smooth and calm in the morning.
Good luck with yours!

I suffer with psoriasis/dermatitis and my absolute favourite moisturiser (having tried plenty of pricey ones) is Nivea soft.

Doesn't burn my face when applied & genuinely feels moisturising.

LRP hydraphase is also lovely but so expensive.

Anything Nivea stings as soon as it sinks into my skin 😣 beautifully, will me face peel using the retinoid?!

OP. Your skin might get red and flaky with the retinoid, or it might not. You could put it over a moisturiser /facial oil to start with, and use 2/3 times a week, until your skin is used to it. This one is very gentle imo, hopefully you will like it.

The ordinary website suggest that you use biffetvthen the retinoid over the top, which is what I did last night, and this morning my skin seems very calm.... the big angry red spots on my face seem to be very calm, and I don't know if I am looking too closely but it almost seems brighter! The buffet was a gorgeous base for my makeup this morning so so far I am very impressed 😬

Oooh sounds good so far!
I love the retinoid, but use it over the niacinamide. Have to order some more now, to make sure I don't run out. Smile

The only moisturiser I've ever found that didn't give me spots is Dr organic. You can get it in Holland and Barrett. I've tried the olive oil and the rose Otto, both are good.
