Stockings and suspenders!

I am 33 years old, and I've just about had it with tights. I spend most of my day pulling the bastards up.

I'm thinking stockings and suspenders might be the answer (tried hold ups....no!).

Where can I get them from? I don't want Anne Summers-type ones - I want to wear them in the day, not just to be ripped off, iykwim. That said, I don't think any Nora Batty!

Any ideas where to start looking??

Get a proper 6 strap one. Always wear your suspender belt under your knickers.

You need proper suspenders with eight metal clips (four per leg). Immediately disregard plastic clips or only three per leg.

Look at What Katy Did and Kiss Me Deadly and don't be put off by the slightly gothy styling of the latter. They know their stuff and make suspender belts and girdles to be worn all day.

Forget the pretty suspender belts. More functional six strap can be bought online - I get mine from Suzanne Charles who provide a good service.

I wear mine every day at work and find them really comfortable.

Why cant you wear hold ups? So much less faff.

Surely you’ll be ditching them in May though as it’ll be too warm? Hopefully.

They are OK but I sometimes find they can be a little tight. But then in the winter/ cold weather I find they can fall down (or is that just me?) I supposed I'm just used to stockings.

My boss gets a bit grumpy about bare legs in the summer...

What katy did have really good hard working suspender belts, they don't sag or slip. They are also classic and non slutty.

This thread was started in January 2017!!!! While good quality suspender belts can be hard to find, I expect the OP has her suspenders sorted out by now.
