Do people still wear tights?

Morning, I am out tonight and wearing a short dress. I am 56, it's not ridiculously short but above the knee.
I rarely see people wearing nude tights nowadays - is it a no-no? I just get the impression it is...
I just think I would be warmer but if necessary I will shave and moisturize!

Sheer tights are everywhere just now. Nude micronets would look good.

If I did this, I would never find a pair of tights that I could wear unless someone has invented bluish toned white tights.

I'd wear black opaques with all of those dresses.

Thanks everyone . The pics weren't very clear but the first dress has a navy spot and the shoes were navy. Second was teal and shoes wine colour. Third is pinky with dark silver sequins. I wouldn't have worn black tights with any of them, to be honest. The decision had to be made early and I wore the nudes. Really did need something, the temperature was in the minuses!
