Which is more versatile in your opinion please? I'm leaning towards oxblood.

I'd say oxblood. About to get some myself.

boldlygoingsomewhere · 25/01/2017 15:58

I would also go for oxblood. Gorgeous colour and can work with many others.

Mol1628 · 25/01/2017 16:00

Oxblood

KlingybunFistelvase · 25/01/2017 16:02

Hurrah! I prefer the oxblood ones.

I've had oxbloods for a while and haven't struggled to wear them as often as I can

KlingybunFistelvase · 25/01/2017 19:52

Chish, if I take the plunge and buy them, I think I'll be wearing them every day! Really want them, they're just so pricy... The pair I want have a lifetime guarantee though, so they're pretty much bound to pay for themselves... convincing? Grin

I have both and I wear the black the most.

Oxblood definitely, I wear mine with everything

TheHiphopopotamus · 25/01/2017 21:47

I've got both and oxblood are my faves. They go with more or less everything (unless you're a fan of hot pink).

HoneyBunnySunny · 25/01/2017 21:49

Same here PNGirl, I have both and wear black mostly. They just go with more of my stuff. But if you love the oxblood get those. My great aunt always used to tell me to wear what you love!

SlipperyJack · 25/01/2017 21:49

Oxblood, definitely. I have the knee high ones.

BradleyPooper · 25/01/2017 21:53

I have black as I wear a lot of black and black jeans especially. Dd1 is 12 and has red patent.....

downwardfacingdog · 25/01/2017 21:54

I wear my oxblood DMs every day. I use black polish on the toes and heels and they are beautiful.

Manumission · 25/01/2017 21:55

#teamoxblood Smile

AndNoneForGretchenWieners · 25/01/2017 21:55

I've had my oxblood DMs since 1993. They are the most comfortable and versatile boots ever.

Jointhejoyrun75 · 26/01/2017 07:42

What do you wear then with, and are the laces a faff to do every morning?

PNGirl · 26/01/2017 10:18

I wear mine with skinny jeans, and they're no worse to do up than a pair of trainers - I don't need to unlace them to get my feet in, just loosen them up a bit.

KlingybunFistelvase · 26/01/2017 10:26

Thanks everyone!

I think I'm going to order the oxblood ones. Just one query re my hair colour which is strawberry blonde / a little bit ginger. Do you think they'll clash?

OP posts:
Mol1628 · 26/01/2017 11:03

No I think they will look great with your hair colour!

I don't find them difficult to put on and lace up etc. They are at first but once you've broken them in they're very easy and comfy. I wear them every day.

KlingybunFistelvase · 26/01/2017 11:09

Thanks mol and everyone else for comments! Smile

I have oxblood and love them, even though they are bloody painful as I'm still wearing them in. But I shall persevere...

YokoUhOh · 26/01/2017 11:42

I'm strawberry blonde with oxblood DMs!

BroomstickOfLove · 26/01/2017 11:49

I have black, but am getting Oxblood next as a wear a lot of navy and it goes better. Also, it's beautiful. My shoes are beautiful shiny Oxblood and I love them.

KlingybunFistelvase · 26/01/2017 11:50

Yes I seem to wear a lot of navy and brown which I think go better with oxblood.

Yoko hair and shoe twins woo! Grin
