Not sure what styles suit a rectangle or 'brick' Hmm shape.

Most things are ok. Just nothing tailored/fitted and nothing that draws attention to the waist. Keep waistlines low to show off slim hips. No wide leg trousers or maxi skirts which make me into a shapeless column.

So floaty, shapeless stuff then?

That’s me and I wear everything, with the exception of something like a very tailored/fitted dress with no stretch (which I would struggle to zip up). I also don’t own any tailored trousers as I’ve never found any that fit properly on my hips, but that’s probably worth a whole new thread. Apart from that there’s stretchy or bodycon dresses, skinny jeans, skirts fitted around the bum/thighs (e.g. pencil skirts, ruched skirt), shift dresses, any neckline except something really low (that’s just for me as my boobs have shrunk since losing weight), anything that hangs nicely off the shoulders. Creating a waist by tucking in a top into a skirt or adding a belt. All these things. Ooh, and skater dresses don’t flatter me either – too much fabric flapping around narrow hips.
