Help me find a ring, show me yours.

I have £2000 to spend on a ring of my choice. I usually don't do jewellery with the exception of my wedding and engagement ring.

I am struggling to even narrow it down to any style or stone they are all so pretty, and so many to look at. It is really an eternity ring but my engagement ring is of a similar style so don't want anything to samey.

So can you show me what you would buy or have done in the hope that it will steer me in the right direction.

I have reasonable slim long fingers and would be wearing it on my right ring finger if that makes any difference.

I had always wanted a cluster ring and I love it. Think it's described as a 'boat shape' or 'target' cluster.

It's 1 1/2 carat, 18 carat gold and cost just under £2000.

I don't wear it all the time, just on nights out.

That is very pretty Muffin I haven't had a look at cluster rings, I'll have look now.

That is also a consideration that I hadn't thought of whether I want to wear it all the time or keep it for best.

Also please post pictures of rings of any price, I'm just after style ideas in the first instance.

A three stone ring maybe. Although I would want white gold or platinum. I like a bezel setting.

The only rings I wear are my wedding, eternity and engagement rings- in that order from base of finger, all on 1 finger.
I also wear my sister ring, my mum ring, and the ring my husband gave me on our wedding day as a present, it's got his initial on it and I saw it and loved it. He got it for himself on his 18th, and decided to give it to me on our wedding day. None of them come off.
I used to wear a ring my mum got when she was a child that she gave me, and a ring that originally belonged to my nan's best friends granddaughter. She gave it to my nan, and my nan gave it to me. I stopped because I didn't have any fingers left (I only wear rings on my middle and ring fingers)

I'm not keen on the bezel setting for some reason.

I think you need to bite the bullet, visit a few jewellers and try different styles on - you won't know what you like until you see how they look/feel on your finger.

If it helps, when I wanted a new ring I started with my birthstone (ruby, which happens to be a colour I love) and bought a very simple but lovely ring with my birthstone surrounded by diamonds. I don't wear/buy many rings so wanted it to be classic and not something that would date.
