I'm looking for a really good day moisturiser

I have been using Clinique DD for years but I'm a bit underwhelmed by it now tbh, especially considering it's not cheap. Skin is sensitive and a bit dry, I'm 36 with a few fine lines. I use cerave at night and pixie glow tonic. I'm willing to pay around £30/40ish if I have to. Thank you.

I use Olay day cream as it has a low SPF and niacinamide in bucket loads.
Then eucerin 5% urea on really dry bits.
Skin is great now.
Both are cheap though. Look for moisturisers with glycerin, urea and lactate and niacinamide in the top 5-7 ingredients.
Avene is also good but doesn't contain niacinamide nor urea and I really need the latter for around eyes and for dry chin.

Thanks Kennington, I heard good things about Olay. Also would never have considered Eucerin so will check that out. So many 'luxury' products leave me looking like a flaky beetroot.

Another vote for the Liz Earle skin repair, it's the best moisturiser I've tried. Sadly doesn't have a SPF though.

I use a separate spf with my moisturisers, as it's hard to find a good one with a good spf protection.

Vichy nutrilogie 1 works wonders on my dry skin. Their aqualia thermal range is lighter and does the job but is perfumed. It doesn't seem to irritate my skin but I prefer the nutrilogie range.

I find it is a good moisturiser, absorbs quickly and doesn't block pores/give spots.

I like Chanel's hydra max moisturiser too - it also smells amazing - but personally I don't get on with it as I'm prone to blocked pores. If that isn't an issue for you, then I'd really recommend it. It makes me sad I can't use it as it is a luscious product.

My skin is dry and dehydrated and I'm currently having success with Garnier Moisture Bomb. Superdrug Hydrating Serum or Lacuna Q10 serum underneath

I recommend REN products - they work wonders on sensitive skin. I started using their moisturiser after having my little one - major skin issues - and haven't looked back. I now use their cleanser and face masks and serum too. My skin has improved hugely!!

Btw - a couple of times a year they do a 25% or 30% discount on their products, and that is when I tend to stock up.

Yay, thank you everyone. This is really helpful. I'm now sucked into the CH website and may be there sometime... (and it appears she hates cetaphil cleanser, which I also thought was crap!) used the Liz Earle cleanser before and it's lovely though I don't always get on with essential oils so am wary of her other products. I'm not asking for much, just a great moisturiser that doesn't clog pores, is anti-ageing, calms skin and makes me look like one of the Hadid sisters

Pure Super Grape day cream from M & S. I got it originally in last year's beauty advent calendar, forgot about it and then used it in an emergency when my usual pricey moisturiser had ran out. It's really hydrating, smells gorgeous and leaves my normally grey skin with a lovely glow. It's honestly the best moisturiser I've ever used. I've turned both my Mum and sister onto it too and we all have v different skin types but works well for us all.

I have dry sensitive skin & used Clinique for years & then realised it wasn't helping me. I now use Olay like I used to when I was a teenager. I use Liz Earle C&P & the toner & my skin has never been better.

Have you tried: www.ry.com.au/freeze-frame-rosehip-pro-clinical-super-oil-blend-25ml.html? I apply 2 - 3 drops to clean skin morning and evening and leave it to soak. It contains Rosehip and Cacay oil so it smells really nice :)

I use Estée Lauder clear difference moisturiser, it's a gel rather than a cream and soaks right in whilst calming redness etc. I use it on a night sometimes too as it leaves no residue which I hate. I also use their day wear tinted moisturiser during the day which is great and just one 'shade'- it's actually a sort of clay colour but adapts to your own skin tone resulting in a sort of airbrushed effect rather than a 'made up' one. I personally really rate EL's products and reckon you'd find something to suit you there. Good luck
