Hair extensions prices ..am I being ripped off?

I got Russian mini lock extensions in November and paid £385.
It's been 11 weeks so I'm due a maintenance apt where they remove the hair and put exactly the same hair back in.
So I sent a message asking the price for this and they said its £165.
I think that's quite expensive considering I already have the hair.
It takes 2 hours.

I think that's pretty expensive for removing and putting back in as you are paying purely for someone's time rather than materials, but that being said, in those 2 hours she could be doing a full head of extensions at £300+ so maybe that's how she justifies it!

I know it to be around £40 for a weave refit and around £80-100 for rings/bonds.

I pay around £50 every time I need mine tightened as do many friends of mine. £165 is extortionate!

£100 is reasonable I think for bonds as they're time consuming. Can you get a couple of quotes from other salons?

I pay £100 ish for a maintenance appointment and I have approx 75 strands in for volume only. How many did you have put in?
