What are your favourite shampoos and conditioners?

I like Liz Earle but have just found out they've changed the formulation of the conditioner I use. My hair has been horrible since I started using it, I had not made the connection until now.

Has anyone got any recommendations? I prefer more natural brands.

I've got highlighted hair and use Joico Color Endure shampoo and conditioner - after trying loads of the years, this suits me best and my hairdresser (she didn't sell it to me, she asked me what I was using) said "whatever you're using, keep using it" so happy with it! It keeps my colour looking and feeling good. I buy the litre bottles - much cheaper and lasts AGES.

I used to buy expensive shampoos but last year I asked my hairdresser what shampoo she used and it was dove, I gave it a try and I really like it.

Thank you so much everyone - keep the ideas coming. I used to use Kerastase myself in the dim and distant past - as I'm at the hairdresser on Tuesday anyway maybe I'll start there but will keep this thread bookmarked and come back for a few more ideas too :)

I love Garnier Ultimate Blends, the Mythic Olive one. Any other shampoo makes my very damaged hair feel coarse and stretchy when I comb it, but within a few days of going back to Mythic Olive it's soft and shiny again.

Another vote for Dove. I use the one for coloured hair, rarely bother with conditioner and my hair always feels lovely. I have tried plenty of others but my hair either looks lank or feels like straw.

I love the Pureology brand of shampoo. I order online (so much cheaper) great for my hair and cruelty free. I always thought all shampoo was the same, but have been proved wrong.

Shampoo: John Frieda Brilliant Brunette

Conditioner: John Frieda, Osmo, Dove or Lee Stafford

I love the Holland & Barrett ranges, I use the coconut one. No SLS and my hair has never been better

I have thick curly hair that is prone to frizz

I tried using the herbal essences naked ones as they are silicon free but the conditioner makes my head itch.
Currently on frizz ease curly shampoo and conditioner but I'm not impressed as I still have loads of frizz

Latest experiment is to put oil on it after washing which seems to be better but struggling to get the right amount. Too little has no effect, too much makes it feel greasy and dirty

I have coloured hair and alternate daily between Korres, Elvive and Happy Hair (sls free) shampoos. I use Elvive conditioner once a week.

Works for my hair and I don't get a build up this way Smile

Might look at the Holland and Barrett range if they're good for sls free shampoo too!

I realise I put Paul Mitchell earlier, I meant Phillip Kingsley. Duh.
