Information - cosmetic surgery forums/websites?

Good afternoon everyone.

This may not be the best bit to post in, but I wonder if anyone here was familiar with any UK orientated forums/info sites regarding plastic/cosmetic surgery? I'm trying to obtain information and it is a nightmare. I have encountered the site Realself but am finding it to be quite useless in relation to the procedure I need to get done.

A wee bit of a long shot but I'd be grateful for any suggestions!

Thank you :)

If you go onto the MYA website and create an account you can see/share photos of other posters procedures they had done. They offer first hand advice/experiences and they also have a forum where you can chat and ask questions.

The MYA website itself will offer information on the procedures they offer.

Thanks. It's so hard to find information - particularly with what I want done.

What is it that you want done? There is a wealth of experience on the s&b board!

FuckDietCoke · 23/01/2017 19:56

Yeah, what is it you'd like to have done? I'm sure someone on here could help!

Well, its a bit off the record - I am going proceed with tattoo excision as laser has failed to shift the offending article (I know, I know I shouldn't have had it done in the first place...) !!

Hmm @Jasmimewest she's just said it was a tattoo and the thread is now over a year old.

I would usually start by Googling the specific surgery that I want and my goal. Usually, I find many answers and advice, but I don’t believe everything I see online. At the end of the day, I would always seek help from a professional. Recently, I sought help for my facial problem with this cosmetic surgery expert.

Real Self.

Sorry - missed your mention of it. It’s the best source but obviously a bit lacking in the case of something not popular here.
