What's your favourite BB cream?

I am looking for a BB cream that will make my skin look naturally amazing!! Grin

I am using the Garnier oil free one for combination skin at the moment but it seems a bit yellow tinged. It's OK, but I want a miracle product that possibly doesn't exist

I have tried Dr Jart (Premium I think?) but I didn't like the thick texture, it also made me look shiny. The La Roche Posay Effaclar BB Blur was a little too mattifying so I've put that away until summer.

I am 41, pale (NC20), combination skin but quite clear, dark blond hair and green eyes. I think I have a warm skin tone but I'm not sure. I'd like to spend up to about £20/£25.

Any recommendations would be gratefully received!

Whats the difference between BB cream and CC cream?
And, whats the difference between either of those and tinted moisturiser??
I tried to buy something like that but left Boots very confused and empty handed!

"CC Creams: The difference between BB and CC creams is subtle--CC generally stands for “color correcting” and the products are meant to address issues like redness or sallowness (usually with light-diffusing particles), whereas BB creams are like lighter foundation with a few skin care benefits thrown in"

What’s BB Cream?

The BB in BB cream stands for blemish balm or beauty balm. It works by providing sheer-to-medium coverage, ideal for those days when you’re a little rosier than you’d like to be. Or for the days you’d prefer more of a sheer, natural glow. But the real reason we’re losing it over BB cream? Because it’s not just coverage. The product also provides skin care benefits—anything from SPF to antioxidants, vitamins, hydration, shine-control, brightening powers and more.

I have the world's daftest sensitive skin but the Lacura BB cream from Aldi of all places is amazing. In fact I'm getting a bit low and emailed them about it and it's next in store in April - aaaargh! I'll be getting 3 tubes next time but at £4 or whatever it was you can't really moan.

I use Estée Lauder Day Wear BB. It's pricey but lasts for months. I have acne prone skin and it is pretty much the only makeup/moisturiser I can use without breaking out.

Maybelline Dream Bronze love it and I'm usually a MAC girl

Lily Lo is lovely and smells wonderful. You can get a sample to try out before you commit to buy

just ordered some cream from body shop on sale - 40% off everything 14664 as well - so ordered some of the tee tree one, which was down to 4.something and then 40% off that too

Bourjois 123 perfect colour cream is really excellent

hollinhurst84 · 25/01/2017 21:17

I'm mega pale so mine are
Missha perfect cover in shade #13
Dollish veil vita (I like the purple one but hard to get so using the green)

MikeUniformMike · 25/01/2017 21:21

The bourjois cc is good but offers quite a lot of cover. I was impressed by the Rimmel one I got at clearance price. Have an unopened garnier one so will look fwd to trying it.

Thanks everyone. Lots of suggestions!

The pp who suggested Erborian - which one? I think there's two - BB cream nude and BB with ginseng.

In he meantime I have bought the Garnier Anti Aging one but I haven't used it yet because it looks a bit orange in the tube (the light one). So I'm going to use it tomorrow when I'm home all day and wont be stuck at work with an orange face!

If you are near Body Shop then call in and ask doe a sample of their creams. They do a white one which blends into a skin colour

MojoMoon · 27/01/2017 00:04

I use the erborian with ginseng light. You can also get it in dark but dark is not very dark given it comes from a Korean background

I have super sensitive skin and it feels nice on

JW13 · 27/01/2017 00:18

I use the erborian CC cream (also space NK) and it's amazing. Lasts a long time and my skin has been much better from using it instead of foundation. I think it's £38 though. It was recommended to my friend by a make up artist. It's a white cream but adds a slight tan when you apply it.
