Where on earth can I buy size 9 boots?

I've trawled the net for a few days now. I'm trying to find some mid-calf black & or brown boots. Thanks to having boats for feet I'm a size 9. I've tried all the big names and eBay /Amazon, along with smaller outlets only to be met with either: - we don't do size 9, or - sold out! Every single time!!
Does anyone have any ideas on where i could try? I would prefer to order online as I live rurally. TIA

Magnus(look online) plus if you're in London they have a shop in chiltern street where there are several other shoe shops for women with size nine and above,

Do they now Snow ? They didn't used to, although havn't tried for about 5 years. That is interesting.

MrsLogicFromViz · 24/01/2017 16:06

I'm pretty sure that Fly 9s equate to a 42, not a 43.

BikeRunSki · 24/01/2017 18:06

i've just looked at their website. Biggest size is 42, which is definitely not a 9!

SaltedCaramels · 24/01/2017 18:07

Crispins (they are expensive but only do size 42 up).

Tall brown or black leather boots here

I have these in red and brown. They are excellent, must have had them 7 or 8 yrs.

Just got a lovely pair of Fly size 9s - and yes, they are a 42. Bastards. Back they went. Thanks for the post, op; has given me some ideas of other places to look for laced leather biker boots.

The 9/42 thing is frigging annoying Angry

There are various FB groups discussing clothes and shoes for tall people.

You're right, it seems it's off-season, most shoes seem to be sold out completely. I checked my favourite sites. Sold out.

Zalando had some, at least my local webshop: www.zalando.se

CallarMorvern · 24/01/2017 20:26

Yep, I've whined often here about stores claiming a 42 is a 9 ( Boundary Mill in Colne, I'm looking at you 😠).
My credit card is kind of relieved that Fly don't make a proper 9.

I remember when I saw a pair of shoes in a shop during my lunch break, went back to work, but after ten minutes, realised I had to rush out and buy those shoes not because I needed them right then, but because they were for sale (at all), just to bunker up on a pair of summer shoes. Have you tried looking at orthopaedic shops? They might have shoes and boots your size, but they're often small and don't have big web shops like the big chains.

Here's a boot, unfortunately not in your language, but still - a black boot in size 43. There's a blue link to send an email, it opens up in your email program. You don't add to any web shop basket in this little store. knulp.se/brako-anatomics-alba-6734-traviata-negro/#1
Here's another one knulp.se/brako-anatomics-military-8470-traviata-negro-2/#1 and another one knulp.se/brako-anatomics-bem-6411-traviata-negro/#1
It's not my favourit shop, that is putfeetfirst aka nilsonshoes, but they were sold out on every single boot, it seems.

cheeseandcrackers · 24/01/2017 20:39

Duo boots are fab and come in about 12 different calf measurements so you know they'll fit but they have got a lot more expensive recently.

Landsend from their own website or Debenhams.

Alwaysfrank · 24/01/2017 20:51

M&S boots in an 8 are much bigger than their shoes. I'm a 9 really but have some very comfy size 8 ankle boots from there.

After 8 are good too - they used to have a couple of shops but look like they are just online now.

Bitconfused75 · 24/01/2017 22:11

La Redoubte have boots up to a ten at the moment and on sale I think.

BikeRunSki · 24/01/2017 22:21

Duo Boots now called Ted and Muffy.

Snowinsummer · 24/01/2017 22:33

Sorry if I've disappointed anyone. I thought my Fly boots were real 9s!! I've used bigfeetshop.co.uk before in the past. Got some bargains in the sale.

downwardfacingdog · 25/01/2017 22:51

Deichmann do 9s and 10s in some styles. They do do some proper leather shoes and boots too, not just the super cheap ones. If you go in the shop, the bigger sizes have a big green XL sticker, which helps spotting them as they are not available in all sizes. Everywhere else I could suggest has already been mentioned. I'm a 10 so very, very limited on where I can buy.
